We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our current Sous Chef (in a joint role) at The White Swan.

What we offer:

This is a unique venue, where you will get the support, love and care of a family-owned business whilst retaining job security and developing personally and professionally.

You will be challenged to deliver outstanding service for the gastro pub style menu that services big numbers and a separate fine dining experience, that focuses on local ingredients cooked to the highest of standards. Our Sous Chef’s have scope to have input in designing and developing our menu, oversee kitchen operations, are required to have strong proactive leadership skills, use initiative and assist in leading the kitchen team.

Attributes that will be helpful in the role(s):

  • Experience in a fast paced kitchen environment, serving similar quality of food offering.
  • Being hardworking, reliable, punctual and having a friendly “can do” attitude
  • Passionate about food
  • An understanding of the importance of our Food Control Plan
  • Organisational qualities – mature, professional and uses initiative
